What is VinylBox?

Our aim at VinylBox is to surprise and delight the recipient by curating three albums into a surprise box. We search the globe for reviews and ratings from music fans, always seeking beyond the 'obvious’ music to bring to you. We offer a surprise every single time at prices averaging 30% less than RRP*. In addition, we ensure that your box of three albums has an average rating of 4/5* and no matter how many times you order we guarantee that you never get the same album twice.

What do I get in each box?

Each box contains 3 carefully selected albums with guaranteed reviews from music fans around the world and with the help of our taste makers, we bring you a headliner, a household name and a hidden gem. The RRP of a vinyl album is on average £20.31 in the UK.

What is your money back guarantee?

We are so sure that you will love your vinyl collection that if you’re not happy, we’ll refund your money. Simply post back the box, with all the records still sealed. We will refund the collection price (less any discounts applied) plus the cost of delivering the item to you. See our Store Policy for details.

Can I get a subscription?

In 2021 we will start to offer a subscription model - please watch our social channels for information and we will of course update you via email if you sign up at the bottom of this page.

How much does a box cost?

All our boxes cost £43.99, which includes free postage in the UK. For international shipping there are currently 4 shipping group rates, ranging from £9.55-£12.55 for Europe and £30 for ROW - please enter your details at checkout to confirm accurate shipping costs.

How can I avoid getting duplicates?

Please use the same email address to order every time to avoid duplicates and to allow us to track this on your behalf.

Can I buy a box without subscribing?

Yes. We currently only sell one-off boxes.

Can I find out which albums I am going to receive?

No! That would defeat the surprise and delight aspect of our boxes, there are few surprises in life these days - let this be one of them!

How do you decide which albums go into the collection?

Our music taste makers, combined with the worldwide reviews curate fantastic vinyl collections. Every box has an average rating of 4/5*, these hidden gems are reviewed by real music lovers, critics and bloggers from across the globe.

Will there be different collections coming soon?

We are always crate digging on your behalf, so we will be adding new collections regularly. Keep an eye on our social media accounts and sign up to our mailing list to hear about our latest updates. This is a community based company and we would love to hear from you about what you would like to see in the future.

If I order more than one box, will I receive the same albums?

We will ensure that you never receive the same album twice.

How do I get in contact with you?

Ordering, delivery and returns

How will my collection be sent?

Your box will be sent to you via Hermes. Once your box is dispatched, you will receive an automated message with your tracking number, which can be checked on https://www.myhermes.co.uk/track#/ enabling you to follow you delivery status online, or via your mobile.

How long does it take for my box to arrive?

All UK orders should be delivered within 48 hours, international orders will take up to 7 days depending on the destination.

How can I get my order number?

Once you place an order, we send you an automated email with your order number and transaction details. Please check your inbox (and if it's not there look in your junk folder), you will have received communication from us.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes we do! For international shipping there are currently 4 shipping group rates, ranging from £9.55-£12.55 for Europe and £30 for ROW - please enter your details at checkout to confirm accurate shipping costs.

Can I cancel my order?

We will all have sad faces if you want to cancel your order but if you do please refer to our store policy for cancellations or returns.

How do I return my order?

If you need to return your order, please refer to our returns policy.

My box hasn’t arrived, what do I do?

Firstly, we’re really sorry - please refer to your tracking number in the message you received. If you have further problems please get in touch and we are happy to help you.

Will my box fit through my letterbox?

Sadly not - LP’s are 12’’/30.48cm in diameter - so it won’t fit and may need to collect these from your local sorting office. If you would like to leave us any delivery details or change your delivery address to a work address, please let us know. However, with the pandemic we realise that even if you are not at home, hopefully one of your neighbours is...

I’ve moved, how do I update my address?

Please just email us at info@vinylbox.co with details of your updated address.


Gifts and gift cards

Can I buy a box as a gift?

Yes - our boxes are meant as gifts - whether its for you (we all like treats) or someone else. We also offer gift wrapping as an option at checkout. If you can't decide which box they'd like you can always purchase a gift card so they can choose for themselves.

How do I redeem a giftcard?

Use the code from your gift card in the discount code section at checkout. If you have any problems, please get in touch via our live chat service, or email us on orders@vinylbox.co and we will be happy to help you.

I'm not sure what my gift recipient enjoys listening to, can you help?

No worries - we can help you! You can either message our live chat and we can assist and if you are still unsure then a gift card is a very good option.
