Introducing 80's Rewind
After the sombre austerity of the punk and post-punk styles of the late 70s, British pop brightened up and became positively kaleidoscopic in the 1980s when an incredibly varied range of artists emerged. His books include Everybody Dance: Chic and the Politics of Disco and Without Frontiers: The Life and Music of Peter Gabriel. He is the co-editor and contributor to The Supreme Record Company: The Story of Decca Records 1929-2019.
